Ah, now here is a Doctor is often forgotten, which is a shame because he was a lovely Doctor and we all owe Bill Hartnell, may he rest in piece, so very much. Almost as much as Patrick Troughten who I'll talk about tomorrow. Without Bill we probably wouldn't have Doctor Who now, he is someone we should greatly admire and respect. To that end I present you with a short little poem which, I feel, captures his time brilliantly.
The First Doctor
Oldest yet youngest
The original anti-hero who became a noble figure
Defending truth and the innocent
Met his end at the hands of old age
Respected by those that came after him.
Not forgotten, not by me. I will love him always for bringing The Doctor to life. Thanks for posting this, not enough people talk about the great man himself.
