So it has come to pass, after a short break, that we come to the 7th Doctor as played by Sylvester McCoy. This Doctor is also one of my favorites, the other being the 5th Doctor of course. This heralded an era where mystery was attempted to be placed back into Doctor Who, references were made to the Doctor actually being at the very beginning of the Time Lords and to be more then just a Time Lord. Sadly these references were never revealed as anything as the BBC placed the show on an indefinite hiatus in 1989 leaving Doctor Who fans bereft of any sort of Doctor Who.

Caught in a hail of bullets in San Francisco
Met his end on the operating table, circulatory system damaged
